Ron Lakin (Executive Director, Marketing) has 30 years experience with marketing in Agribusiness. He was a pork producer for 15 years, a sales manager for animal health products for 13 years and did R&D for pork related technologies for 9 years. He was a board member in multiple pork related organization (such as the Pork Council of Australia and the Pig Industry Development Council), and continues to serve on animal health related organizations. Ron has extensive knowledge of marketing strategies for Agribusiness and a strong network in animal production in Australia.

Fiona Waterhouse (Founder and Director, Spectrum Renewable Energy Australasia Pty Ltd) is a Cleantech market specialist focused on assisting entrepreneurs to commercialize clean technologies, products and services (Cleantech). After seed funding a packaged biogas plant innovation, the BioBowser®, from Australia in 2009 the entity created to commercialise the product merged with Spectrum Renewable Energy Ltd. Fiona is currently the CEO of this local business focused on deployment of the BioBowser®.

Fiona’s early work in the Cleantech space was shaped as a consultant production engineer helping mining and manufacturing companies identify and implement productively improvements. She was a Director in the Queensland Environmental Protection Agency between 2000 and 2003 and continues to provide advice to various government agencies.

Fiona is an Industry Fellow of the Australian Centre for Sustainable Business and Development at the University of Southern Queensland, her academic background spans business, manufacturing, environmental and public sector management.

Carsten Linnenberg (Chief Technical Officer) has over a decade of experience in the biogas industry and was head of Biogas Nord's International Project Development Group. Biogas Nord has developed over 170 biogas plants all over the world and is an international leader in the industry.

Jorg Grondke (Chief Engineer) has over a decade of experience building plants for Biogas Nord AG. Mr. Grondke has worked in Cuba, Thailand and many European countries building biogas plants of various sizes and scope. Mr. Grondke specializes in the engineering and construction of biogas plants.

Martin Sergas (Project Manager) has extensive practical experience in civil works and construction projects having owned and operated an excavation business for the past 5 years and for the previous 10 years held supervisory roles with mining and development companies. A printing machinist by trade Martin combines technical aptitude and attention to detail with his practical civil and construction experience.

Sumedh Bapat (Technical Consultant) has been involved in biogas plant design and technology manufacture in India for more than 10 years.  Sumedh designed and developed an award winning advanced Biogas technology called 3EBT, in partnership with the Agharkar Research Institute, Pune. Sumedh also designed and developed India's first Industrial Fuel Replacement project based on Castor Oil Cake, using LDPE Digesters, replacing 200 litres of Diesel in a Roto Moulding oven every day with 320 m3 of Biogas/Day. Sumedh has built and designed over 20 Biogas plants from 1 - 5 Ton/Day. Sumedh has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a MBA.

Srinivas Kasulla (Technical Consultant) is a post graduate and a Merit Ranker in Environmental Management and Ecology from Mumbai University, India. He has worked for several NGO's and Solid waste management companies, has been involved in installations of many biogas plants, and is an expert in the anaerobic digestion of food waste and cow manure. He has lead the design and installation of more than 20 biogas plants in various parts of India. His specialty is waste-to-energy systems (anaerobic processes, technology and biogas) with emphasis on process design and implementation both in a theoretical as well as in a practical sense.

Peter Allison (Technical Advisor) has a background in aviation engineering with many later years devoted to the development of sustainable solutions for agriculture and the environment. The BioBowser® is a result of his previous work into prototyping of systems for the biological conversion of agricultural effluent into fuel gas and sustainable fertilisers. He is also a professional sculptor with works installed in museums and other public venues around the world. Peter provides technical consultancy for SREA and his current attention is focused upon innovative water quality solutions and low-noise wind turbine technology.
